Morning Meditation Made Easy
In this 4-hour Morning Meditation Made Easy online self-care series, you will learn how to give yourself the gift of meditation to start your morning off calm, balanced, focused and ready for your day! No experience is needed. Beginners are welcome!
Intro to morning meditation lecture: Learn the simple steps needed for you to create your daily meditation practice including how to cultivate a comfortable space in your home, create time in the morning for yourself, and what to do to prepare for your practice to start your day off right.
Intro to mudras lecture: Learn the power of placing your hands in different positions (mudras) and the physiology behind how they work so you can feel calm & balanced.

8 different mudras with corresponding affirmations and guided meditations
8 different seated guided morning meditations
1 full guided meditation to relax, reset & renew

Upon completion of this knowledge-based course, participants will be able to:
Recognize the signs and symptoms of chronic stress and anxiety and utilize specific breath, yoga and other self-regulation tools to feel calm and in control
Identify when the mind lacks focus and concentration and use meditation techniques and mindfulness to improve focus, concentration, critical thinking and memory
Recognize chronic stress related symptoms in patients and provide them with the self-care education and tools learned in this program to relieve their symptoms and improve well-being
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the North Carolina Medical Society (NCMS) through the joint providership of Mountain Area Health Education Center and Stress Free LLC. The Mountain Area Health Education Center is accredited by the NCMS to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
